"Care and compassion for my aunt"

About: Ninewells Hospital / Trauma & Orthopaedics Trauma & Orthopaedics / Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery

(as a service user),

My aunt was admitted to Ninewells hospital with a suspected broken hip.

The care and compassion given to her by the truma consultant Dr Donald was fantastic, he made her feel as comfortable as possible she was then admitted to ward 17 where the care and compassion continued.

She was given a pin in her hip to help with the pain, but unfortunately she deteriorated and passed away yesterday.

Thank you all staff at Ninewells hospital.

Please accept my sincerest condolences on the loss of your dear aunt. Thank you for taking time to provide such positive feedback, especially during such a difficult time for you all as a family, Many thanks for your donations towards our 'reducing dementia stress & distress in hospital" project, they were very much appreciated and already bringing comfort to patients within our care.
