"Helpful and kind at Minor Injuries"

About: General practices in Greater Glasgow & Clyde Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Minor Injuries Unit

(as the patient),

I was injured at home and worried that my Tetanus vaccine status was out of date. My GP was very unhelpful and asked me to attend ED urgently for review. They declined to assess/treat.

I was seen in a timely manner by the MI team at QE, and quickly reassured. I was offered a Tetanus vaccine and discharged home. Marianne (ANP) was helpful and kind.

Dear irregularitydr43,

Thanks so much for your lovely feedback—it really made our day! We're so glad to hear you had a positive experience at Minor Injuries. The team works hard to make sure everyone feels cared for and supported, so it’s great to know that came through.

I’ll pass your message on to everyone especially Marianne, —it means such a lot to get such positive feedback, it reminds us why we do what we do.

with very kind regards,

Karen
