"The whole process has been so easy"

I had a follow up Colonoscopy appointment after an initial  Flexible Sigmoidoscopy which was carried out at Forth Valley Hospital, Falkirk. The whole process from start to finish has been so easy, due to the hospital staff (both clerical and clinical) who dealt with the appointment and sending out of information with the pre meds required before attending the unit.

The Doctor and Nurses who have looked after me have been superb, putting me at ease the whole time. And I should also mention my GP who examined me first of all and then quickly referred me for farther investigations. Without her I would probably still be waiting to be seen.

However there is absolutely no reason for not getting these issues seen to however embarrassing we feel they maybe. Get them seen early and the outcome will more than likely be favourable. The longer you wait the bigger the problem.

So again, many thanks to all the staff who work at Forth Valley Hospital but especially those who took great care of me during the two visits I had there.
