"My mum's care"

Ward 21, Heartlands Hospital 

My lovely Mum had a nasty fall in January.  The beautiful nurses and day staff took great care of my Mum up until the end. Thank you all that made my Mum's last days as pleasant as can be.  You are all angels.

Apart from the one night staff nurse that couldn't wait to get my Mum's body from her bed by whipping the cushions from under her whilst we were still there and mourning Mum's passing. I've struggled with that image ever since. You were quite cold and showed no empathy  You showed no compassion and neither did the other two nurses on duty that night.

The day staff were wonderful though and I cannot thank you enough for all you did for Mum. 

Thank you to the head nurse of ward 21 who went above on beyond for me.  You are amazing and such a lovely soul.  

Thank you to you all that took good care of my Mum.  I shall never forget you all and what you did for her x
