Visited A&E to have a puncture wound on my hand attended to caused by broken glass. The minor injuries team and x ray team were excellent, including attention from the plastic surgery team. My wound was thoroughly investigated, all glass was cleaned out during a minor surgery and I was discharged with clear instructions on follow up care at home and the options for removal of stitches locally without returning to A&E.
