"Left alone at home struggling"

About: Amersham Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as a service user),

Amersham wheelchair service  never answer the phone, people with wheelchairs are bound to their chairs for mobility!

They are not resolving maintenance issues because they won't answer the phone, people with broken wheelchairs cannot leave their home to go to the establishment, so they are left alone at home struggling because our one and only available wheelchair service in this area is seemingly not competent.

Someone needs to contact the users of this service to seek the truth.

Your concerns are very important to us, and I understand how frustrating and isolating it must feel when essential services are not accessible. If you would like to tell us more, I encourage you to contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS), who can support you directly and ensure your concerns are addressed. You can reach PALS by calling 01296 831120. They are available to listen, assist, and advocate on your behalf.

Once again, I’m very sorry for the inconvenience and distress this situation has caused. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.

It would be great if we could contact the service we require. Pals is complaints, we need service.
