"Support from the mental health liaison service"

About: Causeway Hospital / Mental Health Liason Service

(as a service user),

Over the past couple of months I had a stressor which was causing me difficulty, I attended A&E at the Causeway Hospital and as a service user I knew about the MHLT.

I had previous good experiences of support from the service and I was lucky enough to have received support from Kevin each time I attended and I feel that Kevin really helped me cope through this stressor. It was a situation where all I could do was manage for a period of time without making things worse, so to speak. I feel that Kevin was validating.

Ideally I hope that I don't need any more use of the service, however realistically if the need does materialise I would not hesitate in reaching out as Kevin helped me, which I greatly appreciate.
