"CT at Raigmore Hospital"

About: Raigmore Hospital / Radiology

(as a service user),

I was referred under an urgent referral and received a letter within a week offering me an appointment a week later. Appointment was on time and two members of staff polite, kind,  pleasant and answered all my questions in a professional manner. All went smoothly and I was out 15 minutes later.

The patient information letter seems quite out of date. Mentioning social distancing and patient restricted waiting area. Which didn’t appear to be the case. It’s also quite vague re preparation instructions, it mentions no food, but is unclear if you can have tea or coffee with milk?

Dear avocetwk78,

Many apologies for the delay in responding to you, I have just returned from leave.

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave feedback following your recent visit to our CT Department. I will certainly pass this on, including a review of the CT leaflet.

It's a very good point about preparation instructions and liquids as well as food.

I will discuss this asap with our CT Team Leads.

Kindest regards

Stephanie Adlinton

Radiology Service Manager
