"I now feel more informed"

About: Occupational Therapy / Occupational Therapy - Neurology Outpatient

(as a service user),

Louise listened attentively, with understanding and care. She answered all my questions. Taking time to explain things in a way that made sense. She validated my feelings and helped me understand how to manage my condition. She is the first clinician in 18 months who has taken the time to listen, take full account of my situation and symptoms and given me some answers.

She has equipped me with some exercises and strategies to manage my condition and referred me on to specialist physio to give more precise treatment. I now feel more informed,  listened too and cared for. That there is hope for some answers and ways to manage things. That I will be safer with the strategies and less prone to injuries.  An invaluable service with specialist knowledge which other more generalised services weren't able to offer.

Grateful it was at pri, as travelling further would have caused considerable pain.
