About: Stepping Hill Hospital / Emergency Department

Outstanding.

I attended Stepping Hill A&E after a dizzy spell which I could  not shake off.  I had been there previously a number of years ago with my partner and have to say I was not looking forward to the experience.

What a difference. From the minute I arrived I was made to feel welcome. Arrived at 10.00am and left at 1.00pm and in that time I was triaged, had an ECG, bloods taken, blood pressure checked twice, CAT scan, chest xray and full check out by a doctor.

All the staff were professional and courteous at all times and made me feel cared for every step of the way.  You guys do a fantastic job in very hard circumstances and deserve every plaudit for the service you are providing and the manner in which you are doing it.

Good afternoon,

Thank you for taking the time to feedback about the care you received in the Emergency Department at Stepping Hill hospital. It was so nice to read how the care you received was caring, compassionate and efficient. The department can get extremely busy at times, but it is important to maintain personalised care like in this instance. I hope you are feeling much better.

I have shared your post with the department leads who will share with the staff team in their huddle meeting as they will appreciate hearing this. This feedback will also be shared in our Patient Experience reports.
