"Put at ease"

I was recently called into your service. I came in and sat in the reception and was then called through to the room. They told me what to do-which I did. There was very nice guy in there and he put me at ease completely and then he said - right that’s you finished. I will now see if Dr Bell can see you.  I was fine with this. I went and saw him, and he asked if I had any complaints. I reported I did not, and he told me I was free to go.
