"Lovely appointment with Speech and language therapist"

My daughter had an appointment recently in Dungannon clinic with speech and language therapist Keira. She worked well with my daughter and she has such a fun way of carrying out her assessment using toys. She was able to identify a few areas were my daughter is delayed in her sounds. She showed us an easy strategy to try and improve her P sound and she reassured me that the S sound could still be developing and how my daughter is doing it can take up to age 7 to correct, she told me she would be able to help my daughter at this age if she needs it. Keira also told me to contact any time I should need any information or help with my daughter starting P1 in September, I really appreciated this. It was also lovely to hear the progress she feels my child has made. My daughter really enjoyed her time with Keira and said afterwards "that was fun!" Thank you Keira, we look forward to seeing you again at our next review 😊
