"I can't praise the care and attention I received enough"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Urology

(as the patient),

I was feeling apprehensive attending for a prostate biopsy. From the moment I entered the ward I was made to feel at ease. The nurses and doctors were all very professional. The procedure was explained clearly and I was told what to expect. During the procedure the nurses chatted to me which took my mind off what was going on. I can't praise the care and attention I received enough. I would like to give a special mention to the student nurse who was exceptional.

I am delighted to hear how the staff made this experience a more positive one for you during your appointment, the nature of the visit can certainly be a daunting one.

It is great to hear how professional the nurses and doctor were and how everything was explained and you knew exactly what to expect, it is very important to us that patients are fully informed and are not met with any surprises.

It is also good to know how just chatting to you during the procedure helped take your mind of the event, and I am humbled with your praise for the care and attention you received.

I look forward to sharing your feedback with the team and will ensure to inform the student nurse your personal comment, she will be delighted.
