"About being on Ashley Ward"

About: The Hatherton Centre (Stafford Medium Secure Unit) / Ashley House

(as a service user),

I have been on Ashley Ward a few months.  These are my thoughts, nice people, nice staff, nice atmosphere. I like environment because there is more space.  I like the activities, the sporting groups, social / tea groups and psychology.

I think that being here will help me. I have made friends with some of the other guys.  I feel safe on the ward.  I like accessing the garden, it is nice and open.  The staff always make time for me, they are always on hand.  The food is nice and the ward is always very clean.

It is really nice to read that you feel safe on the ward and are happy with the activities and space, as well as the psychology you are having and the friendships you are making.
