"Consultant put me completely at ease and was very thorough"

I got the symptoms of PMR out of the blue in April of 2025. I was given an emergency referral to see a rheumatologist specialist and today in Aug 25 I attended the Ulster hospital for an appointment thanks to a late cancellation.

I wanted to drop a line to say how wonderful my treatment was from start to finish. I was first attended to by a young female doctor ( apologies I didn’t catch her name) who put me completely at ease and was very thorough and reassuring in her assessment of my probable condition.

This young doctor was so professional and had a great way of communicating the symptoms of PMR to a slightly nervous patient! The young female doctor then brought her male  colleague in  ( again I don’t recall the name but he seemed a senior consultant) and he too was excellent.

I left the Ulster hospital feeling very reassured that I was in good hands  and thought it only right that these wonderful professionals be hi-lighted and thanked in some small way.
