I was introduced to Dean from DART not long after arriving at Grendon and thus began my 2 weekly sessions with him to gain support for my past and present struggles with alcohol.
I've not one bad word to say about my sessions/experiences with Dean. From the start he made me feel welcome and comfortable, especially when speaking about difficult subjects and times in my life, which can be quite difficult to do.
During our sessions, Dean would ask relevant questions which enabled me to open up and discover and explore new avenues with which I didn't know were there, which was a huge benefit to me, and to encourage me to take these to my small groups. Every session was always enjoyable with Dean because of the approachability, respectfulness, and professionalism he brings and I always looked forward to our sessions, to learning something new about myself and new ways of exploring my alcohol issues. Credit to Dean for this and the support he gave me and I look forward to reaching out to him in the near future if I need extra support. It's refreshing and reassuring to know that this level of support is there if I need it. Thank you Dean
