"Prompt action by GPs"

About: Pedmore Medical Practice

(as the patient),

Following a low red blood cell reading whist a patient at Lion Health my wife and I changed practice to Pedmore Medical Practice. Following registration as patients I received a call from Dr Edwards saying because of the low previous blood reading she wanted me to do another blood test as soon as possible. This was completed recently mid August and following receipt of blood test results I was contacted on the day afterwards by Dr Soleimanpour who said that I needed to go to hospital that day for a blood transfusion, as my blood reading was only 70. I went down to see him and he referred me to the SDEC unit at Russell’s Hall. Following various tests at the hospital I was given my blood transfusion the following day.

The prompt action by the doctors at Pedmore Medical Practice saved me from possible very serious health problems.

I would very much like to thank the doctors and practice and look forward to staying with them for some time to come, thank you.
