I've been on under the NHS Lothian Pain Clinic since 2016 for severe spinal stenosis following an accident in 2011. I've seen several Consultants during this time, however Mr Marple is an exceptional doctor. He is not only knowledgeable, but also caring, compassionate, and truly listens to me. I always feel respected and supported, and I’m extremely grateful for the excellent care I receive.
I've recently had a significant increase in pain, due to the spinal stenosis progressing and went for my usual spinal injections. Mr Marple looked at my recent MRI and could see the amount of pain I was in, and the increase in my pain medication and decided to do an extra procedure to try to help me there and then.
I'm truly grateful to be under Mr Marple, he is a credit to NHS Lothian and I can't thank him enough.
"I always feel respected and supported"
