"Relapse"

About: Adult Mental Health and Learning Disabilities / Occupational Therapy (Mental Health)

(as a service user),

I was suicidal as a result of relapsing with my mental health disorder. I no longer felt like I could recover and just wanted it all to be over. However, with the help of psychology, nurses and especially the OT’s, I have come out of my darkest days. The OT team were amazing in keeping the longest days bearable and providing a safe place to vent or just be yourself. Alannah, the OT would sit and just listen to me, ask me questions and honestly, I looked forward to OT everyday!

Thank you Alannah and the whole team for helping me save myself!
