My gran was admitted to the Royal Infirmary ward 116 with cardiogenic shock, she passed away quite quickly and unexpectedly but the care and compassion myself and family was shown was beyond amazing. This will always stick with me and my family as my gran was such an essential part of our family.
I would like to especially say that Staff Nurse Jack was absolutely fantastic, caring and compassionate just everything you would want in a nurse when a close family member is at the end of their life. They explained everything in detail and simplified it for my family to understand. The doctor that was dealing with my gran's care, Meghan, was just amazing!
My gran also expressed that she had a great experience in this ward and was treated with the utmost respect and kindness. I appreciate she was cared for unbelievably well in her last moments, in ward 116! And we will never forget this! Thank you ever so much!
"Amazing care and attention"
