"Wasting their time and mine"

About: Stepping Hill Hospital / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

I attended my appointment last week. After an hour of various tests and a lot of waiting I eventually saw a doctor who looked at my notes and said they were unable to treat my condition there, and asked why I had come there. I found their manner extremely rude. I had stupidly assumed that someone would have reviewed my notes on receiving the referral from my GP before sending me an appointment, therefore avoiding wasting their time and mine. I had unnecessarily had the drops which diluted my pupils which was very uncomfortable on a bright sunny day.
