"Thanks to her, I feel a lot more confident"

I want to give some feedback about my wonderful midwife Hannah who works in Hunter Health Centre in East Kilbride. 

I am incredibly lucky to have had Hannah care for me during both of my pregnancies. From the very beginning she has been kind, caring, and endlessly supportive. During my first pregnancy she made me feel reassured, heard, and genuinely cared for and I was so relieved to discover she would be looking after me again for my second. She has a calm, compassionate presence and always takes the time to listen and explain things clearly. Nothing ever feels rushed or impersonal.

I am now in my third trimester and look forward to appointments with Hannah as she always takes the time to ensure I am competently informed regarding my baby and their growth. During this pregnancy I have had a few ups and downs regarding the health of my baby which have been upsetting and Hannah has been a constant source of reassurance. In addition to this, after a very traumatic first birth, Hannah has helped me with the realities of a second birth and helped me to fully understand my options for the birth of my second child. Thanks to her, I feel a lot more confident about the upcoming birth.
