"The best treatment at UHW minor injuries."

About: Emergency Department / Minor Injuries

(as a service user),

I had endured an injury to my left ankle and also a very grazed forearm in a horse riding related accident. I waited 2 hours in A&E waiting room before being called into minor injuries.

I was welcomed, assessed and my injuries managed so well and with compassion. I can't thank the staff enough, they were so caring and it felt like they had all the time in the world for me.  The communication skills are enviable and I could tell they love their job.  Thank you.

The other staff who I encountered were also very caring and attentive.

5 stars for UHW minor injuries department. I've also had a previous experience when I fractured my shoulder and was seen by another exceptional member of staff.

5 star treatment, care and compassion.

Dear Zoey6,

Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful feedback. I'm truly delighted to hear that you felt so well cared for during your visit to the Minor Injuries Unit at University Hospital Wishaw.

Your words mean a great deal to the team. They work incredibly hard to provide compassionate, patient-centred care, and feedback like yours reminds us why we do what we do. I’ll make sure your comments are shared with everyone involved in your care — it will mean the world to them.

Wishing you a smooth and speedy recovery from your injuries, and thank you again for taking the time to share your experience.

Best wishes,

Julie.
