"They are an amazing team"

About: Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust / Primary care mental health

(as the patient),

I wanted to express my gratitude to the Persistent Physical Symptoms Pathway Team (Primary Care Wellbeing Service). The difference they have made to my life is phenomenal. It is so refreshing to have a holistic approach that focuses on all aspects of wellbeing rather than just the illness the person has or the body part that is painful. Given how effective it is it staggers me that this model is not more widely used within the NHS - IT WORKS!!

Thanks to the team and most notably Dr Everett, I now have a quality of life again after decades of suffering. I feel heard and validated and have been taught so much about the mind-body connection and its impact on pain and illness. There aren’t enough words to convey my gratitude but thank you from the bottom of my heart. I so hope that this approach is rolled out throughout the country and helps many more people who are currently stuck in the dark place that I was. All awards need to go to this team, they are amazing!! 🤩

Hi, Lilacblossom, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your valuable feedback with us using the Care Opinion website.

I will pass on your lovely comments to the Service Manager for the PCWB service and ask her to share your feedback with the team, especially the individuals that you have specifically named.

kind regards
