"The excellent care provided"

Our family is very fortunate that my Dad & Sister are resident in McKillop Gardens Care home in East Kilbride.

My Sister being 3 years & my Dad 18 months.

The moment you step in the door you feel welcome. All staff are friendly caring compassionate  professional & helpful to both residents & visitors/families. Staff are always happy to talk to visitors families at any time. 

They all go above & beyond for all. We are welcome to visit at any time . 

The care home is  kept spotlessly clean at all times by the friendly team  .

The catering staff provide nutritious varied menus to suit all residents. Food is well presented & tastes perfect. (I know from experience. ) Catering staff engage with all residents at mealtimes & know their preferences.

Residents are treated as individuals & their care is planned around their needs. Each residents care needs are constantly reviewed & periodic meetings with residents families & carers are arranged to ensure inclusion .

The staff work very  well as a team which ensures the safe running of the care home & the safety of the residents.

Staff are well trained in their roles . My Father has been unwell a few times & the actions & care from all staff was excellent. 

I have an NHS hospital background & in my opinion all Staff in McKillop Gardens are more professional than many staff. This is a credit to the Senior team .
