"The support and care was outstanding"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Accident & emergency Forth Valley Royal Hospital / General surgery Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Surgical Assessment Unit Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Theatre & Recovery NHS 24 / NHS 24 (111 service)

(as the patient),

I recently had to call NHS 24 regarding severe abdominal pain that had lasted for hours, they were very prompt on task and had instructed me to go to A&E as quickly as possible after assessment.

I was admitted to SAU, where the support and care was outstanding from day and night staff, I never knew safety in a hospital quite like it as this was my first hospital experience in Forth Valley Royal, staff were so friendly and kind and nothing was a hassle to them.

I ended up having surgery on the Monday morning and they were so reassuring and was then admitted to B11 post operation and the staff too could not have been any more pleasant.

I was extremely grateful for all the support through a pretty scary time thanks again to you all, lots of love xx
