"Surgical ward 2"

About: Grantham & District Hospital / General surgery

(as a parent/guardian),

Matt was treated with care and respect from the moment we arrived on  the ward. The staff Neetha, Mary and Tash were friendly and very supportive for Matthew’s special needs. He was relaxed by the time we went for surgery. On his return to the ward he was given instant assistance with food and drinks for us all.

Nothing was too much trouble and we left feeling everything that we needed had been done. Well done ladies, your ward is great. An unexpected follow up call Kate the following day was also a nice touch.

Dear Hap52

Thank you so much for sending in your experience for Matthew and we were so pleased it all went well, as theatres as well played a huge part in the organising of his journey to ensure there were no issues and nothing would cause anxiety for Matthew.

I will share with the whole team as they will be assured that they made a real difference to Matthews stay with us – I hope he is recovering well and please take care.

KR

Julie
