To the Staff and Volunteers of Macmillan care unit at Antrim Area Hospital

On behalf of the entire family circle, we would like to express our deepest gratitude for the care and support you provided in the final days of John Joseph (Sean)'s life. In those final few days your kindness, empathy and compassion were a great comfort to him and the entire family circle.

Each individual we met, from the volunteer who first greeted us at reception until the nursing staff on duty when he passed, was kindness personified and for this we will be forever gratefully.

Your final touch of sending a sympathy card was totally unexpected but perhaps sums up the empathy, professionalism and attention to detail of a truly exceptional staff.
