"Poor GP Practices"

I have been undergoing health issues where I had two iron infusions in April.  The doctors then discovered issues with my liver, so requested further blood tests.  My GP practice no longer carries out the blood procedure unless urgent, so sent me to the hospital for it to be done.  It cost over £2.00 for parking for a 5-minute procedure and a waiting time of 30 mins, not to mention the half hour to drive to the hospital.  

Despite calling the GP practice several times over the following two weeks, they advised that they still had not received the results. I called again, 3.5 weeks after the blood test, and was advised that again the results were not in. I then asked if they were going to chase the results from the hospital, to which I was put on hold. 

The member of staff I was speaking to returned, advising that the results had actually been in for three weeks. They asked if I would like my results emailed to me.  I asked if they had been reviewed by a doctor, to which they said that they hadn't. Three weeks of having results and still not been reviewed.

Honestly, how ridiculous it is now to get a blood test and get results within a decent timescale.  

I still am none the wiser as to what the results are showing about my liver or other tests done.
