Admitted at 07.30 for daycase. The team in the admissions providing pre and post care were excellent. The theatre team very efficient.

 The only downside to the whole process is the complete lack of any follow up communication from being told at fracture clinic the previous week that I was for surgery in the next week. Despite a number of phone calls by me I unable to get actual confirmation until 3.40 the evening before. I live on my own and I needed to plan transport and someone to stay overnight - my family all work so they and I found it very frustrating.
