"Child bladder problems"

About: Children & younger people's services / Continence Team (CYP)

(as a parent/guardian),

Came home from school everyday with wet pants, she realise they were wet and smelling of wee. Had an appointment with continence nurse, was told sounds like not able to control her bladder. Started on Oxybutin 2.5mg twice a day it helped but didn't control the problem completely..After a month changed tablets to 2 in the morning, 1 at teatime, helped a bit. After another month changed to Oxybutin 5mg twice daily, after a few day no more wet pants.
