About: University Hospital Monklands / Audiology

(as the patient),

I recently dropped off one hearing aid at Cumbernauld Health Centre for the Audiology Department to be repaired. I retained the other aid, though it needed the Tube replaced, as I cannot hear without my Aids.

At 4-10 pm the following day, I received a very polite call from the Audiologist Connie that my Aid was ready for uplifting. I chanced my arm and asked if I could come up in 5 mins, could she repair the tube on the other aid. I was aware that she stopped work at 4:30 pm. Not a problem at all, come up and I'm in Room number 5.

I arrived, and Connie re-tubed the hearing aid; my hearing was back to A1. Thanks again to Connie and all the members of the Audiology Department for their great service.

When you are deaf, being without your aids is a problem. Credit where it is due to you all. This is my third letter of appreciation for your great service.
