(as the patient),

I had a a biopsy done by the interventional radiology department and was also look after by the medical day unit. Both departments were very well run and the communication was great. Dr Black was my radiologist and he was very approachable and did a great job!

The nurses in the MDU, particularly Claire, Morag, Beth, Sarah, and the senior charge nurse (whose name I have forgotten sorry!) were so kind and always asking me if I needed anything, keeping me up to date with the plan. Can’t thank everyone in both departments enough, really kind and helpful staff.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your kind words following your recent visit. We’re truly pleased to hear that your experience within both the Radiology Department and the Medical Day Unit was a positive one.

Dr Black and the nursing team within Interventional Radiology will be delighted to know that their approachable manner and professionalism made a difference to you. Likewise the MDU team will be very touched to hear how much their care and communication meant to you. I will be sure to pass this on to the Lead Nurse.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated and will be shared with all the staff involved. It’s always encouraging to hear that our efforts to provide compassionate and high-quality care are making a real impact as undergoing any procedure of just attending hospital can be a very daunting experience.
