"My worker made me feel safe"

About: Justice Teams / Lanark Justice Team

(as a service user),

When I first started my order I thought I would be meeting with someone horrible that I would not get on with. However, my worker made me feel safe during our appointments, which made me comfortable enough to open up, which I usually struggle with.

I was provided with a lot of help and support which I really appreciated. This really helped me to improve my mental and physical health. My worker gave me the same appointment day and time which really helped me to make my appointments a part of my routine. I have definitely gained a lot more confidence whilst completing my order.

I completed a journey with Venture Trust which was amazing and made me realise all of the things I want and don't want in my life. I am now in full time employment and enjoying being independent financially.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback and experience with Lanark Justice Service. It can be daunting when initially starting Supervision and I'm pleased to hear that it wasn't what you were expecting and you were able form a positive working relationship with your Social Worker. I am so pleased to hear of the positive changes that being on Order has had for you and the experience with your worker as your working relationship developed. It is great to hear of the positive outcomes you have achieved including improved physical and mental health, improved confidence, completing a journey through venture trust and gaining employment, I will ensure the Team are aware of your positive feedback, thank you again.
