"You deserve medals"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Day Surgery University Hospital Wishaw / Gynaecology (Ward 13)

(as a service user),

I went into Wishaw University Hospital for a gynaelogical procedure.

The care I received was second to none. I commend all staff in Day Surgery. The admin people at check in desk. The nurses who prepared me for op. The anaesthetic staff and the surgical team. Couldn't have been better looked after.

Staff in ward 13 especially Laura and Pauline are excellent .

Can't forget my stoma nurses AnneMarie and Linda who take care of me on a weekly basis.

Everyone mentioned above you deserve medals👏👏👏

Dear Granmaureen

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience following your recent procedure at Wishaw University Hospital.

We’re absolutely delighted to hear that the care you received was second to none. Your kind words reflect the dedication and compassion of our teams across Day Surgery, Ward 13, and our specialist stoma nurses.

We’ll make sure your praise is passed on to everyone involved — from the admin staff at check-in, to the nurses, anaesthetic and surgical teams, and especially Laura, Pauline, AnneMarie, and Linda. They will be so pleased to know their efforts made such a positive impact.

Your message is a powerful reminder of the difference our staff make every day, and we’re incredibly proud of them all.
