About: New Stobhill Hospital / Assessment and Rehabilitation Centre (ARC) – Day Hospital New Stobhill Hospital / Pre-Operative Assessment clinic New Stobhill Hospital / Theatres, Recovery and Anaesthetics

(as the patient),

Was admitted to Stobhill Hospital in Glasgow for lumpectomy and sentinel lymph node removal.

I was extremely afraid of anaesthetic procedure but on speaking to my female anaesthetist whose name I didn't catch I was put completely at ease regarding the procedure and indeed in the pre op room.

I also found every single member of staff that I had contact with to be extremely friendly and helpful. I couldn't fault a single part of my treatment either before or after my procedure.

It’s also wonderful to hear that every staff member you encountered was friendly and helpful, and that your care both before and after surgery met your expectations. Feedback like yours is a real boost for the team and a great reminder of why we do what we do.
