Diagnosed with ADHD years ago, they put me on Methylphenidate 36mg , due to availability problems changed me to a different brand at 30mg, this medication has basically no effect anymore, seems the dosage is very low, for the past 9 months I have been bounced from the doctor to Airbles Rd.
Doctor cannot review or increase dosage, has to be a psychiatrist, Airbles Rd says no psychiatrist available and no idea when they are getting one.
So much for regular medication and mental health reviews.
I am struggling beyond words. My young daughter has just died and me and my wife spent weeks living with her in hospital.
Only someone with ADHD can imagine what I am going through.
Was told my Airbles road that if I feel suicidal I can see a nurse but she cant prescribe any medication. Doctor says although ADHD is a medical condition he cant do anything except give me valium.
I find it disgusting that I am left like this at the very worst time of my life with absolutely no help from anyone, don't know where to turn.
