My family member had an awful experience with a Macmillan urology oncology specialist.
I felt the communication and empathy from them was disgraceful and clearly showed they are completely unqualified and unsuitable for the position. I really hope no other families have to deal with their unprofessional and unhelpful manner.
In our experience the method of cancer diagnosis, support, treatment, and communication in altnagelvin from the urology team was disgraceful and extremely inappropriate and I sincerely hope was a mistake and not the way patients are being treated daily.
