"Made me smile and feel a lot better"

About: Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital / Play Service

(as the patient),

Didn’t feel good today and I felt sad. But I played with Aidan today, the play worker and other play workers, and they made me smile and feel a lot better. Aidan was the best, he played lots of different games with me. Thank you Aidan, I’m hoping to beat him at some games tomorrow.

I am sorry to hear that you have not been feeling well and have been a bit sad. Aidan and the other play staff are really good at helping to make a stay in hospital better. Aidan is really good at planning different activities, games and fun things to help you feel better and it sounds as if this is really helping you. I am sure you will be able to beat him at some more games and that he will help you keep smiling. Aidan will be pleased to read the nice things you have said and that will make him smile. Thank you.
