"Words can't express myself and my family's eternal gratitude"

About: Golden Jubilee National Hospital / Cardiac Surgery Scottish Ambulance Service / Patient Transport Service University Hospital Hairmyres / Cardiology University Hospital Monklands / Cardiology/Coronary Care Unit (Ward 18) University Hospital Monklands / Dermatology University Hospital Monklands / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

A doctor at Monklands noticed in my notes something maybe wrong .ie angina . I was at hospital for Dermatology. They sent me to A n E at Monklands.

They done tests and was found to have had a heart attack, I was kept in for 3.5 weeks. Where the care from Doctors n  Nurses to cleaners was exemplary.  Nothing was too much.

I was then transferred to Hairmyres for Angiography which showed I needed 4 bypass grafts.  Again the ambulance guys and staff were brilliant. Transferred to Jubilee in Glasgow.

Again staff fantastic, Doctors explained everything. Nurses couldn't do enough. Nothing was a bother. From intensive care to hdu. Staff were brilliant. I can't thank them enough.

15 weeks post op.  Blood pressure a wee bit erratic, back to Hairmyres where nurse John fitted bp machine.  Again he explained everything.

All I can say our NHS is fantastic when u really need it. I understand it is on its knees.  But the professionalism.  The help and advice, after care rehab, amazing. Words can't express myself and my family's eternal gratitude to these wonderful human beings.
