"Truly listened and cared"

I attended A&E at Basildon Hospital mid August 2025 and was seen by Ms Noori, a gynaecology doctor. From the very beginning, she was kind, compassionate, and—most importantly—she actually listened to me.

After months of going back and forth without clear answers, Ms Noori took the time to understand my symptoms and made sure I was put on the correct pathway for treatment. I left feeling heard for the first time in a long while.

What touched me most was that a few hours after I was discharged, she even called me to check how I was doing pain-wise. This follow-up was above and beyond what I expected and made me feel genuinely cared for.

I’m so grateful to Ms Noori for her professionalism, empathy, and dedication. She has truly made a difference to my journey, and I want her to know how much I appreciate her.
