I would like to express my thanks and gratitude to Senior Charge Nurse Adele and her wonderful staff in Ward 11A who recently looked after my dad for his vascular surgery.
My dad was a patient of Mr Hussey and his surgical team who have done a fantastic job looking after him, carrying out investigations and then swiftly listing him for surgery. On the day of his surgery he was looked after pre -op by the wonderful staff in the recovery area and post-op by recovery Staff Nurse Aimee and a student nurse who both were so caring and made sure he was comfortable. On returning to the ward he was closely monitored and I could not praise the hard working staff enough for their care and dedication to his recovery. The ward is a very busy, acute area but the staff always cared with a smile and a wee chat and nothing was ever too much trouble.
Thank you all for ensuring my dad had such a positive experience - he is at home and doing very well.
