I want to thank the wonderful staff who cared for me and my son last month at Forth Valley.
I especially want to thank Toni in the triage unit, Drs Tas and Cat who I think are registrars in the obstetrics unit. You both really really listened to my opinions and concerns and worries about my birth at my antenatal appointments and explained the risks and benefits of each option. When things started to become a bit concerning, Tas made me feel so safe and cared for and I really felt that I was in good hands. Her unrelenting positivity and cheery nature really made me feel secure and calm.
When I was in labour, I had a wonderful midwife with 40 years experience called Mhairi. Knowing that you had seen it all before and were completely unphased by everything that came up made me feel safe. I felt during the whole experience that I was in good hands with all of you.
Finally want to thank the lovely student midwife Elizabeth who was there through my whole Labour. You were wonderful and I hope you have as long a career as Mhairi delivering babies.
Thank you xx
"Excellent care"
