"They saved his life"

About: Urgent Community Response North Hants

(as a relative),

My husband had been confined to bed, very poorly, with what we thought was a urinary infection. After amoxicillin he was no better, doc, required another urine sample, he was wearing incontinent pants!

Speaking to Ann, copd review, she was concerned enough to ask Maria to visit. In turn Mania contacted you and Rosie and Joey came to see him. They were fabulous, so good, and convinced my husband he needed hospital. They saved his life, he had problems with pneumonia and sepsis. The next day I watched him go into Septic shock, again with rapid response he survived this. Hospital staff and myself do not know how!

Thank you

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. We’re so pleased to hear that your husband is recovering after such a worrying time. The UCR team work closely together with our colleagues to provide the right care when it’s most needed, and your kind words mean so much to everyone involved. We will make sure Ann, Maria, Rosie, Joey and the rest of the team see your message. We wish you and your husband all the very best in his ongoing recovery.
