"Exceptional care on Ward 5E – Heartfelt thanks"

I want to express my sincere gratitude for the outstanding care I received on Ward 5E (the day unit ward) at University Hospital Crosshouse. Every member of the nursing staff is not just professional but genuinely caring and attentive throughout each time I attend the day unit.

A particular and heartfelt thank you goes to Louise. On a recent visit Louise consistently took extra time with each patient, and her kindness, patience, and personalised attention made a real difference, and it really resonated with me. Her genuine care and empathy are a true credit to the nursing profession, and to Ayrshire & Arran Health Board.

Such compassionate care doesn’t go unnoticed. The difference it makes to patients both in terms of comfort and reassurance cannot be overstated. Thank you to the whole team on Ward 5E for your dedication, and especially to Louise for going above and beyond.
