"Course has given me incentive to carry on"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Pulmonary Rehabilitation

(as a service user),

Today I have completed my re- assessment and walked 130m more then when I started the course! Prior to this, I was never doing much exercise however this has given me the incentive to now to carry on. I would say 8/10 my breathing is much better. Debbie and the girls have been a great bunch and tailored the exercise to individual needs.

Dear carinacc66

Thank you for taking the time to provide Care Opinion feedback regarding your experience at the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Service at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow.

Pulmonary Rehabilitation is one of the most important interventions for people living with chronic lung disease so it is great to read that your walk test distance has improved by 130m and that you are rating your breathing as 8/10 that is amazing.

The team endeavour to provide the highest standard of patient centred care so it is lovely to hear that you felt Debbie and the team had achieved this.

I will ensure this is passed on to her.

Continuing with exercise is also so important to maintain your strength and lung health so it is fantastic that you now have the incentive to carry on.

Wishing you all the very best for your future and thanks again,

Kindest Regards,

Kirsty Murray
