"They made us feel reassured and informed"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / General Surgery (wards 19, 20, 24, 26 &29)

(as a relative),

My dad was sent to the surgical assessment unit at RAH from his GP on recently. The staff were fantastic: Nurse Lauren, HCSW Sandra & Dr Aidan.

In particular Lauren, she had such a gentle and caring approach, she was knowledgeable and would explain things as the day went along in terms of tests/treatment for my dad and also transfer to the ward.

It was a long day and my dad was quite poorly but the staff certainly made us feel reassured and informed.

We are so pleased to hear that Nurse Lauren, HCSW Sandra and Dr Aidan provided such compassionate and attentive care, and that you felt reassured and well informed throughout what must have been a worrying time.

We will make sure your feedback is shared with the team, especially Lauren, Sandra and Dr Aidan – it will mean a great deal to them to know their care made such a positive difference to you and your dad.
