I received exceptional care from the nursing and care assistance teams at Ward 5 ENT at the Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy.
I was treated with respect and dignity by all members of staff and felt they not only addressed my medical needs attentively but made me feel really welcome on the ward and that they were happy to help aid in my recover.
They listened and acted upon any concerns I had in a prompt and efficient manner. I feel I got to know several of them on a personal level and they were always willing to share stories from their own personal and work experience. This helped put my mind at ease and definitely aided in my recovery. They were also extremely kind to my family visitors with several of them commenting on how lovely the staff on the ward are.
Although I may forget many names I would like to personally compliment Steven who always looked after me and my family well, ensured I was well fed and is just an all round great guy. I’d also like to thank my nurses, in particular Linda, Celine, Parnita (sp) Zoe and all the others who helped care for me. Sorry there are so many names to remember but every member of staff I interacted with and cared for me in Ward 5 were exemplary.
I would like to extend my thanks to each and every one them for making a traumatic experience for me as stress free as possible.
