About: Maternity care / Ward 48 (labour ward)

(as the patient),

I had Consultant Madipola for my delivery of my second child. My first delivery was an emergency caesarean which was a really horrible experience and I was so scared for the same to happen. Consultant Madipola was so kind and caring and ensured that I got the birth that I wanted, he came offering a helping hand in the theatre to do a vacuum delivery and told me he just wanted to help by giving more pain relief as I had done very well and my body was just so tired. 

His care was absolutely amazing and I got the vbac that I wanted even if I did have to get some assistance, he did very well at taking care of me and my baby and I will never forget him as he played a big role in my delivery and gave me such a positive experience.

Congratulations on the Birth of your second child. I hope you are all doing well.

I am delighted that you achieved a vaginal birth after your experience of an emergency Caesarean with your first child. I really hope this experience has provided some healing for you.
