"Thank you just seems not enough for the help I was given"

About: Community Occupational Therapy / West (Dunfermline & Rosyth)

(as a service user),

I contacted health and social care about getting a wet room put into the house as I had difficulties with the one that I had. Sarah was allocated as my person and I was so happy with that. I cannot express how Sarah made everything so easy and nothing was too much trouble.  Throughout the whole process. Sarah called to with updates. She would visit me and never seemed to be in a hurry which was amazing. I felt that i was treated with respect. I felt sad when she said that I would no longer be under her care.  Knowing someone was looking out for my best interest when it concerned my health was a relief.

I simply cannot express my gratitude and thanks for everything Sarah helped me with over the last year.  Thank you just seems not enough for the help I was given which has made my life so much easier.

As Sarah's line manager, I want to let you know what a lovely message this is to read. You highlight how Sarah kept in contact with you so that you were updated as to progress, and I will make sure she knows how much you appreciated that. She will also be delighted to hear your appreciation of her manner when working with you. Respect is very important. I am sorry you were sad that Sarah is no longer working with you, but hopefully that means that you are benefitting from the intervention she provided. Thank you very much for taking the time to give this feedback.

kind regards

Morag
